ISISERETTES
Of
Sethos Court (105)
Daughters of Isis
Winston-Salem,
N. C.

Our Story
The Isiserettes of Sethos Court #105, DOI were re-organized in December 1999
under Past Commandress Carmen A. Myers. The group had previously been a
marching unit and had competed and won on a national level. Dt. Myers felt
that the Daughters of Sethos Court could become mentors to the group and aid
them in more ways than learning how to drill. Thus our group evolved. We started
with two girls, Zatie and Lee Ella Coker; we now have twenty young ladies on our
roster.
Having faith in a Supreme Being, we accept girls between the ages of 7 and 17 to aid them in becoming productive citizens, having pride in themselves, their heritage and their community. We meet the first Saturday of each month; here the group elects their own officers, are taught parliamentary procedures and discuss whatever issues may arise. We also try to have a activity on other days in the month be it skating, bowling a fund-raiser or whatever.
Presently we have five Daughters on the advisory committee and one Noble. And Sethos Court has been with us every step of the way. If you would like to become a member please see any Daughter for more information.
